When it comes to making the choice – Austin Lumber knows that safety, health, and superior performance are key factors in making that decision. We now offer a full line of products to address these needs to protect our environment and the people that live here. Austin Lumber / Green build page was designed as a tool to fulfill the shared objective of a green build environment. To address this new industry concept Austin Lumber is an Austin First to offer our customers Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified Wood. Assuring our customers that the wood are chosen from forests that are managed in a sustainable and responsible manner. This chain-of-custody certification assures that consumers can trust the FSC label and tracked back our supply to FSC-certified sources. Another Austin First for Austin Lumber is Bonded Logic Ultra Touch Natural Cotton Fiber Insulation. We are the only distributor in the Central Texas area. Third Austin First product that Austin Lumber carries is Green E-Board to replace gypsum drywall and cement backer board. This product is Fire-proof, water-resistant, environmentally friendly, with a life-time warranty. At Austin Lumber we don’t just say we carry Green Build products. We actually select products that go above and beyond the typical construction industry acceptance.

UltraTouch® is environmentally friendly insulation packed with quality features including no-itch or skin irritation, maximum thermal performance, and super sound absorption.

HOUSEWRAP
GreenGuard
has the most Innovative housewraps around. Housewrap creates a weather
resistive barrier around a home that deflects and drains water. It breathes
to allow moisture vapor to escape the wall cavity. The full line includes
RainDrop-the first cross-woven housewrap with drainage channels, Ultrawrap,
ClassicWrap, and ValueWrap.
FLASHING
Our self-adhesive butyl
flashings offer great strength and reliability. GreenGuard Flashing and
GreenGuard SuperStretch™ Flashing help deflect moisture by creating a
permanent, watertight seal around doors, windows, and other openings. These
peel-and-stick butyl flashings offer adhesion to wood, polystyrene, and
housewrap.
SHEATHING
No other sheathing can match
our performance and value. GreenGuard XPS sheathings help deflect moisture
by resisting absorption. They create a thermal break that moves the dew
point to the outside of the wall cavity, helping to prevent condensation
from forming inside the walls. They're also lightweight, durable and easy to
install. 
CONTRACTOR
TAPE To
keep moisture out, you need a tape that always holds on. By sealing
seems, our tapes enhance the effectiveness of our housewraps and
sheathings. We offer a standard tape for flat surfaces and custom
tapes for the uneven surfaces of RainDrop and UltraWrap. Both tapes
stick tight in all seasons, even when temperatures dip below zero.
